These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of CopydoWell — a Google Sheets add-on and a companion Chrome extension (together, "the Software") — provided by Metalix ("we", "us", "our"). By installing or using either product, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
CopydoWell copies, sorts, filters, and syncs data between spreadsheets, either on demand or through automation you configure. It's available as a free Google Sheets add-on and as a free Chrome extension with optional donations (see Section 5).
2. License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Software, solely for your own or your organization's internal purposes.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Software for any unlawful purpose or in violation of Google's Terms of Service, Workspace Marketplace policies, or Chrome Web Store policies.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or circumvent the Software's authorization, licensing, or security mechanisms.
- Use the Software to process data you do not have the right to access or process.
4. Your data and content
You retain all rights to the data in your Google Sheets. We do not claim any ownership over it. See our Privacy Policy for details on what each product accesses and how it is used.
5. Pricing and donations
- The Chrome extension is free to use — all features, including the Copy Tool and scheduled automation, are available at no charge and with no purchase required.
- Donations are entirely voluntary. If you choose to support the project, contributions are collected via Razorpay, a third-party payment processor. We do not directly collect or store your payment card details.
- Refunds: Donations are voluntary and generally non-refundable. If you believe a contribution was made in error, contact support@metalix.in and we'll review the request in good faith.
6. Automation features
Automation (triggers that run on edit, on form submission, or on a schedule for the add-on; scheduled triggers for the extension) executes actions you have explicitly configured, using your own Google account's authorization. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and deleting automation you no longer want running, from either product's own trigger management UI.
7. Availability and changes
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue either product, in whole or in part, at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate material changes.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The Software is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Software will be error-free or uninterrupted.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Metalix shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of the Software, including data modified, deleted, or overwritten, as a result of actions or automation you configured.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Software if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the Software and remove it at any time via Google Workspace Marketplace, the Chrome Web Store, or your Google Account/browser settings.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
12. Contact
